Local artists Janna and Jessie Robertson created “Frogs & Fantasy: A Family Exhibit” showcasing original artwork as mother and daughter.
A longtime educator, artist and activist, Dr. Janna Siegel Robertson founded the Community Art Collaborative NC last year to continue her large-scale community art projects throughout Cape Fear. In addition to her work behind the Forest of DREAMS and Black Lives Do Matter! art installations, Janna has always had a flair for creating fantastical creatures in a variety of media.
Jessie Robertson is a recent graduate and visual artist who has shown her frog paintings through Art in Bloom Gallery since 2019. Jessie’s paintings, sculptures and cards highlight endangered species to promote global frog conservation.
