Milton Gore creates surrealistic portraits using Black women and elements of nature to invite viewers interpretation, emotions, and expressions conveyed in each piece, exploring themes of beauty, nature, time, space, and personality. Milton’s interest for art began in childhood when he created illustrations that conveyed stories. In 2008, he started illustrating detailed portraits using graphite and pen/ink, which became his primary focus. He also developed an interest in graphic advertising during college, leading to the creation of graphic designs and branding materials for businesses and organizations. This led to the founding of MG Visual Studios, LLC. In 2021, Milton’s work evolved to include digital artwork, blending surrealism, realism, natural elements, and vibrant colors. He aims for his art to inspire personal interpretation, identity, and emotional connection.
