Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

Bring your blankets or lawn chairs for a FREE family-friendly movie! A vendor market will start at 5:30pm, film will start at 7pm.
Bring your appetite because there will be FREE hot dogs, hamburgers (vegan options available) and drinks! Some food vendors will have their items for purchase. We are looking forward to a fun movie night with you!

Northside Movie Nights is a partnership between Northside Food Co-op, Cucalorus Film Foundation, Wilson Center, the City of Wilmington and DREAMS Center for Arts Education.
