Experience the Bellamy Mansion ornamented with its Christmas finest! Enjoy a casual stroll through the mansion and be inspired by lush Victorian decorations. This annual event showcases Christmas decorations throughout: festooned mantels, gasoliers, and several ornately decorated Christmas trees. The main 3 levels of the mansion and the site’s original slave quarters include historically accurate decorations, while the mansion’s upper bedroom level features the creativity of the Bellamy Mansion’s many volunteers. Volunteers in each room give visitors a brief explanation of the space, and the tour follows a specific path. Visitors will have time to take quick photographs, but the line will continue moving. This is a come and go open house. We suggest arriving by 7:30 to have enough time to stroll through the property. Snacks like baked goods and hot chocolate will be sold in the carriage house visitors’ center after visitors exit the main house. Cash is preferred, but credit cards accepted for $5 or above.
